【致歉】昨天的一条嘟嘟我使用了brown people这个称呼来表达对一些移民问题的不满情绪，可能对一些象友造成了不舒服的感觉。这个称呼我知道是欠妥当的，发的时候也确实是在抱怨带有offensive的情绪。但是我还没有意识到是racism的问题，因为我一直以为这个称呼比较中性。感谢象友指出，更新了一下知识点。以后再涉及到种族的问题，我会三思而后说/写/行。
@dachengzi 我完全忘记了昨天那条嘟嘟的内容，只看到了投票，并且投了否，我记得投是和否的人数相差不大，刚才去翻也找不到投票和回复了，请问相关讨论还在吗？我有些想知道这个racist是如何认定的，因为无论是我查到的资料还是阅读感受而言，这个词本身都难以算作歧视性用词，比如 https://berkeleybeacon.com/person-of-color-column-accepting-the-brown-label/ 里作者自己讲：Unlike the n-word and its derogatory counterparts, the word “brown” did not historically express hatred and malicious intentions. Therefore, “brown” does not reinforce the systematic oppression of a specific group and as a result, does not possess a racist connotation.
@dachengzi 这真是太遗憾了……这和文章作者的呼吁正好相反。我的一点微不足道的意见也一样：这很善良，但是不太有必要。

@admin 不好意思，因为后来绝大多数人选了“是”racism用词，我也就删了并道歉。今天是因为有朋友指出了这个称呼东亚人称呼南亚东南亚裔确实比较tricky，尤其是语境context是作为一个整体批评/攻击。我之前对这个称呼没有在意过，因为本身我们有越南裔的朋友，她们自己这样说过自己的group，但是这个事情就像是“兔子可以说别的兔子可爱，但是别的animals说，就不合适了”
这是我今天学到的知识。
